With fellow Green Councillors at Stroud District Council
Chloe has been the Environment Chair at Stroud District Council since she was elected in 2021. With her help, the Council has introduced many key projects in support of nature and climate action, while maintaining and improving the core public services it provides.
More recently, Chloe was elected by the Conservative-led County Council to chair its Environment Scrutiny Committee, alongside her seats on the Audit, Overview & Scrutiny and Pensions Committees. These roles reflect Chloe’s reputation as a trusted pair of hands at both councils.
Volunteering at a local community celebration
Chloe is well known locally for her work in the community: helping to run social events at a hub for older residents, a member of the events committee for the Minchinhampton Country Fayres, and getting involved in all sorts of community and nature based events in the area.
Chloe says: “I absolutely love where I live. I believe there is appetite among voters for a hardworking MP who is equally comfortable rolling up her sleeves to sort recycling at a community event, scrutinising Audit Committee papers, pressing for better local public services and warm and affordable homes, and campaigning for clean waterways."
