Chloe will champion the need for warm, affordable homes, built only in well-sited developments that work for people and nature. She will press for more ways to ensure that empty homes are brought back into use, for the prioritisation of brownfield land for development, for developers to be held to account on the delivery of affordable homes.
Chloe believes protecting nature must be prioritised in everything we do, nationally and in our area. She will support our local farmers in Westminster, demand action from water companies on sewage, and promote local solutions to the nature and climate crisis, such as natural flood management, green infrastructure and regenerative agriculture
Chloe will stand up for our communities and demand that they are served by well-funded public transport and active travel, youth services, NHS facilities and easy access to green spaces. Rural authorities receive 38% less funding per resident, yet it costs more to deliver services in rural areas - Chloe will fight for proper funding for North Cotswolds, its communities and rural businesses.
As a chartered accountant, Chloe is well placed to engage in debate on fiscal policy. She will champion the need for a fairer tax system, including a tax on the super rich and heavier taxation of companies that profit at the expense of nature and planet. This will provide more resources for the services we need in North Cotswolds, to help everyone live comfortably and thrive.
